What can I say about this activist...one of the few people I would look up to if for nothing else the way he lives his life and acts upon what he says not just preaching it.
In my frustrations over certain issues over the last few years, including a heated debate with friends in the US over the then impending war on Iraq, Chomsky indeed took the time to respond to my e-mail as this article states. With an absolute jam-packed schedule, dozens of books sold internationally, interviews daily, and an acadmic research schedule to boot, he still takes the time to answer the thousands of e-mails sent to him. Absolutely incredible.
In such an intellectually and politically stifling era, we all owe Chomsky a debt of gratitude for doing what so many of us can't - tell the truth as it is and to lead by example.
